When the others' footsteps fade in the distance, it's just Snow left. He's sticking with Serah no matter what, and it looks like he's the only one. He looks down at the brand on his arm, the tangle of black lines. It would be nice if l'Cie magic would give him an easier way to break up this crystal, but he doesn't dare try when there's so much at stake.

"Sorry," he says to Serah, taking her cold crystal hand in his carefully. "This might take a while, with just me. But I'll get you out of there. I promise."

My basic description of Snow is "he's a big doofy puppy." I just want to scruff his hair and pet him. He's endearing, in that doofy tripping-on-his-own-feet so happy to see you way. ^.^

(Sorry to double-post, but I just realized that I never mentioned that I loved "Jewelry" and "Backup," but I loved them. So very accurate to the characters and the complexities of their relationships.)
