Sometimes, Amaterasu pauses - even in the midst of painting the imps in half. Rent bodies flow apart slowly and burst, petals flowing in a gentle shower, dissipating before touching the ground. Issun looks down, as though asking what she waits for, and she stands still, as though to say "for a moment."

It's only brief - just a breath, and gives the imps pause, in question. In just another moment, she returns to their banishment.

In that moment, Amaterasu found the place empty, and in the wake of battle, a sapling springs up. She carries on, and nobody suspects.
